Transmission fees, tied to peak electricity usage, are a key cost driver in mining. These fees aim to support grid reliability by discouraging high demand during peak periods.
Revolve Labs utilizes a machine learning model to aggregate data across domains and forecast peak hours. This predictive capability enables significant cost savings.
Note
The ML model is not currently integrated into the CPM app interface; data entry and analysis are manual. However, model outputs are used to suggest curtailment hours to clients and Revolve Labs' site operations. The actual peak hour, confirmed in the monthly bill, is logged here and subsequently fed back into the model.
